Hardware: Scanner Spanner Light Lit

If the spanner light (for maintenance) is lit on the Kodak scanner, there are a few things to do:

• Remove any paper from the scanner - it won't start properly if there's anything on the feeder
• Ensure the room is well lit - if it's dark, the scanner may (wrongly) detect that there's something on the feeder
• Clean the scanner - a sensor may be blocked
