Upload Employees Where Managers are not being surveyed

It can be accessed via the client dashboard under Survey Set-Up - Upload Employees.

Note: This is the case as of: 09/07/2015 and will move to a new location as part of the new 2016 process.

When an employee's manager does not currently exist (i.e. they are not being surveyed,) the field for Manager Payroll Number needs to be populated.

As the managers do not have a payroll number assigned to them, anything can be entered in this box as we have an override feature that allows you to add managers who do not currently exist.

When entering a payroll number you must ensure that it is unique. If two different managers are assigned to employees with the same payroll number, the system will create the first manager and update all employees whose manager has this payroll number to this manager.

Any subsequent managers with this payroll number will not be created in the database and will be overridden by the first Manager that was found.

Note: If a payroll number is entered as #N/A The system will error on this payroll and set the payroll number as an Error code, for ease of use and consistency, please avoid using this as a payroll number
